honolulu star 1941..dec 7th

    I have just been given what appears to be original editon, not sure how many pages there should be? or he kept the 2 front pages with 1st extra and 2nd extra? they were my late father in laws, and tomorrow I'll post pics of pages...+ other items mum gave to me, I'm sure they will Interest ...ray..:) shown below is not the actual paper...

    There were "souvenir" editions printed. You have to be careful with them. (And I'm not conversant with the differences, sorry, it's been years since I saw the repro.)

    I've been looking at the fakes adam, but looking at the paper he only kept the front and back pages, so value not concerned with, but a shame he did'nt keep the whole thing, he was over in the states when that took place and probably just wanted them as souveniers? hence the pages missing..it's originally dated 7th, so it came from the time of pearl harbour, and he carried it thro the war..I'll post pics tomorrow, ray..

    That would be nice! I would love to have the original number and all seven extras. It was the CNN of the day.
