I was searching for info on the Banff Strike Wing. I had just completed an MS Paint drawing of one of the wing's Mosquitoes, and was preparing to post it on my DeviantArt page, so I figured a little background on the aircraft I had re-created would help.

I began collecting 1/32 scale armor minitures and came across two variants of Marder III. That spurred me to look up axis armor on line to understand the difference. I then progressed to French armor and a google search led me here and I have been trapped ever since. Those darn French!!! I knew I should have asked for a side of Freedom Google instead!

I searched on Google for forums and online communities about WW2 and military discussion, and found WW2F and decided to register because it looked like the best forum out there.

Otto told me about it. We both did contracts for the same company and worked in the same area for a bit. I was walking around one day and saw a guy sitting in an office who had a book with a tank on the cover on his desk. We got to talking about ww2, and he forced me at lugerpoint to register.

I Googled sheep tending in the West of England and wound up here for reasons that escape me. But I had an urgh to give it a try....

If pressed for the truth I did a Google search and found the British sister forum and discovered there were two. I got into a controversial thread over there and thought I would give this one a go,

Well, I don't have many friends who are into their history as I am (heck, I don't have any!). So I told my dad about it and he suggested finding a WW2 forum to talk about World War 2. So I listened, used the "search engine" and this forum was the first thing that came up, and it sounded like a good one!

And here I am today, talking about how I got here in the middle of Maths class :D!
