You can save a little money by buying the Barbarosa to Berlin with the Africa Corps. I bought the download version which allows you to play right away along with buying the CD version which was mailed to me later (just in case your computer fries). I find it helpful to have the paper game manual for the Barbarosa to Berlin game even though the downloaded version does have a PDF manual.
I read it through the entire way on my trip to Cincinnati. No I wasn't driving. In this game you get lost the instant you start playing. The manual clears up some of the mystery.
Ah, yes, you do need to RTFM on this one. The game is pretty intuitive, but if you don't read the thing you won't go beyond the first few skirmishes.
I haven't read it, in fact I didnt even know there was one on the CD. lol I can still battle and give Otto and Musso a run for there money. lol
I just learned the hard way with BO. Don't take risks, and never drive your tank near a German infantry squad, or you might find a panzerfoust inside you!
Risks sometimes do bring adverse results. So did Santa give you Combat Mission Barbarosa to Berlin Joe?
Za, why haven't you signed up for the Tourney? Or is the Red Rabbi all take? Yes, those be fighting words! Don't worry, Tomcat, I think Otto has suffered worse then you in that custom map (and this time i'm playing as the Russians)! EDIT: Yes, the is complicated, because it is realistic. Moving a squad through open ground is going to get the majority of them killed. Having them run everywhere is going to get them tired out, which makes them respond to orders slower. Constantly changing orders will delay their implementation as the orders are passed down the CoC. And yes, Tanks with out Infantry Support = Iron Coffins!
Well considering the old one is completely shot (Does not recognize disks anymore), no. I have been doing a bit of research, and found a way to get the two hard drives in the same machine, and be able to switch between them. I'll try that ASAP.
Musso, I'm using a borrowed PC that is indeed below spec to run CM, I expect to buy a new notebook in a few weeks, and then we'll see.
If anyone still p lays CM and is looking for opponents the Few Good Men club are always on the look out for new players. We also have an awesome tactics section detailing everything you need to know about the game.
