That should be 'imperial' - it's my keyboards fault.

    Sure... We understand. ;)

It seems that the Dutch and Scandinavians are indeed the tallest around here.

Nope, not there anymore. Seems we lost this option during the recent "upgrade" to the forum. Was this known or am I being particularly dense as well as vertically challenged at 171cm? (5ft 71/2")

    M.E 262.

Remember, there is an Imperial Gallon @ 8 pints.
    & a U.S Gallon (which is 6 pints I think).

I'm about 180cm (should measure again sometime)
And one of my friends is around 220cm (he's a giant jealous of his cousin who is even taller)
I'm to lazy to do the math.

im totally correct..perhaps you have forgotten that an english gallon is different to an american gallon....american gallon = 0.83 english gallon...
also an american pint = 0.83 english pint etc etc.

    5 ft 8 1/4 in or 1m 73.
1/4" taller than Marc Bolan was, 1/4" taller than the average for my generation - although nearly everyone I went to school with was taller than me

Having been brought up by a family who insist on the Imperial system, and a schhol that insist on the Metric system, I can do both.

    I am 5' 11" which comes to 180cm

I don't mind, what I'm called within reason and AS LONG AS IT IS POLITE!! :D

I'm glad you don't have the same unfortunate attraction for trees that Marc Bolan did. ;)

Caroline, I think your own name is much nicer than "Polite".
