Identification help of pictures that have my grandfather working on vehicles

    If anyone can help me figure out what types of vehicles/trucks these are I would deeply appreciate it. These are of my grandfather sometime in World War II. Just trying to learn more about what he did. Hopefully they are clear enough to see. Thank you.

    Looks like a duece and a half CCKW open cab in first and forth photo.My dad drove one also.

    The other 3 photos looks like a Dodge WC52 series truck.

    My guess as to what he did was that he was assigned to a transportation unit as a driver/mechanic. Hope this helps. Good Luck!

    Aaron, for more pics of those types of vehicles please take a look on this site. While it is based out of Russia, and has some good and some slightly "odd" data, the great majority of it is superb. The photos are especially useful for comparison purposes.

    Goto:

    Oldtimer gallery. Trucks. Studebaker US6, US6x4.

    And while it starts out on the Studebaker vehicles, just click on the highlighted in blue names of other units. Very informative, and you can find excellent pics of every type of truck, pickup, and car they store pictures of.
