    Same for me this time in Normandy. I brought back the most identifiable or unusual pieces - or, like the broken steering arm, unidentifiable but 'typical' of the Falaise Gap. The other stuff was replaced where I found it.......

    cool pictures. It's nice to see this in such nice condition with the original paint.

    I love the Poteau Museum - absolutely one of my favourite private museums in Europe ! :cool:

    I remember when he let me handle the Browning HP35 which he'd found with a metal-detector just a few days previously. A relic to envy ! :cool:

    I just went thru this whole thread, and I gotta say! Great stuff! What I would give to get over there and do some relic hunting of my own!!
