Same for me this time in Normandy. I brought back the most identifiable or unusual pieces - or, like the broken steering arm, unidentifiable but 'typical' of the Falaise Gap. The other stuff was replaced where I found it.......

I remember when he let me handle the Browning HP35 which he'd found with a metal-detector just a few days previously. A relic to envy !
