If D-Day happened today

    Texson, thanks for sharing that insight.
    I'll add one thing: competition. In the race to outdo or score points over their rivals, something had to give. I'll admit we in the print media rejoice when we get to scoop our TV counterparts, especially since they can go live.
    I know this is supposed to be a light and funny thread. I have just one question, does anybody here have an example of how a blogger would've described D-Day if it had happened today?
    We've seen MSM so how about from a blogger?

    Yes, and whilst the Pope is some of the most widely covered people by the media, he's one of the worst covered. Like the Pope in Africa (all was about condoms, condoms, condoms...) or the Holy Land (all was about he shaking hands with a Muslim imam awho had just ranted about Israel)... as if the man (perhaps the smartest of all world leaders today and in a long time) hadn't just delivered dozens more speeches and homilies with very important things! :rolleyes:
