Yesterday I went to go see the remake of a Classic British movie called: "The Four Feathers" and it was VERY well done and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I liked it better than the original that starred Sir John Mills. If your not familiar with this movie--it is about the British Army fighting in the Sudan in I think 1888. They went to the Sudan to fight the Dervishes. The fight scenes are awsome. I would give this 4 1/2**** on a 5 ***** rating. A possible new addition to my DVD collection--when I can afford this movie.

Carl: A remake of the film is about to come to the theatres, right?

    London, England.
The real 'original' was made by legendary director Alexander Korda in 1939, starring C. Aubrey Smith.

Indeed, Martin. My grandfather even said: "Don't miss the film! It's a beautiful story!"

I saw it last night-it wasn't a war movie per se-but it was well done and the scene where the Royal Cumbrians form the 'full square' formation is amazing!

The original with Sir John Mills was good but--kinda boring. This remake I liked much more than the original. AT either rate--this is a good film and I will buy the DVD when I cna afford it.
