Hello all, wondered if anyone has info on the below posters - I found these in a loft of a house we purchased. They were in an envelope dated about 1950 so beleive they are genuine WW2 era, I have found some information on the what can you do in civvy st.? poster on the IWM website but cannot find anything on the others - they were printed by Fosh & Cross, London and have GS poster no. 28 and GS poster 29 printed on them, they also have the comment "Restricted, this information not to be commincated to press or anyone not approved to receive it". As I cant find any information on the amphibians ones I wondered if they were rare and if so if they belong in a museum? Any information or advice gladly received. Thank you.

I cannot say that I have seen them before. I would presume the bottom two were training aid for the troops.

    Whatever their history, they're great.
I particularly like the last, as it mentions the Terrapin; a Thorneycroft-designed & Morris-built Machine of which only c.500 were made.
It's military career was rather brief, so it's nice to see it on an official publication of any sort. What's particularly interesting is that it indicates a Terrapin II, which I believe never left the prototype stage, and I'm not sure I've ever seen an illustration of - I knew it was intended to be bigger, but that looks a lot bigger & more 'Dukw-like'.
    Great stuff, thanks for sharing.
