    Bit of semantics - No British Warship was in theatre to prevent the Argentinian Invasion.

    The Task Force, of which the Plymouth was a part, regained the Islands from Argentina.

    Blimey...Skip...my son recently changed jobs from journalist to Royal Navy Lt....He never did manage to get symantics under control...Here's my symantics....Endurance although not there to prevent any invasion..carried sigint section..that I suppose could be classed as there to do so as its info ended up but not taken up on govt desks of the time.

    Was at Birkenhead in November...the U boat museum there is exceptional...worth a visit by anyone ending up in the area.
