Invading Northern France in 1943

    The Italian neutral thread on the Warships1 board has led to a discussion of the possibility of the Allies invading Northern France in 1943 and not 1944 with all that could mean for the Western Allies stop line in Europe.

    I have just got a copy of Grigg's book mentioned in the posts (cost me less than the postage!!) and i've had a quick glance through it and some of the comments do make you think.

    What do people on this board think of the possibility - the Western Allies might meet up with Izzak's million paratroopers after all
