So its been a week since ether an American or Iraqi servicemen has died. Also why has the NBC,ABC,CBS,CNN, or MSNBC not reported this? also other good news is the count of civilian dead is down by half and the American soldier dead is down by half since August.

    celebration for true Americans :)

It wasn't mentioned because the mainstream media, with the exception of Fox News, will not report any good news from Iraq if they can possibly avoid it.

I saw it reported on CNN. Very strange, I imagine that somebody must have put hallucinogens in their water coolers...

Well, it could just be that it is boring news.

"Today, in Iraq, nothing out of the ordinary happened."

Not as 'sexy' in news terms as

"Today in Iraq x soldiers were killed by [insert method]"

Not so much woody's 'good news is bad news' as 'no news is no news'.

I do wish they would broadcast good news, but having a whole news item dedicated to the fact that nohing 'newswothy' has happened would seem like filler.

I disagree. Most reporters in the USA tend to be left-wing types, as do the news organizations they work for. And a lot of them hate George W. Bush with a passion that extends to the Iraq war. Both they and the Democratic Party want America to lose the war, provided Bush can be blamed for what would happen after that. And before you say I'm crazy, listen to what Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, to say nothing of Obama, Edwards, and Hillary Clinton, are and have been saying about the war. According to them, it's already lost, so the USA needs to cut and run, regardless of consequences.
