"Just a quick note here to tell you that under ObamaCare you will be required to prove to the federal government that you have health insurance. Mexicans, on the other hand, won't have to prove they're in the country illegally. It will be perfectly OK for a government official to require proof of insurance. Proof that you're here legally? Nope. Can't have that. Just wouldn't be proper."

Only the feds can come up with rules like this!

I have no idea on politics, being 12 years old, but that still doesnt make any sense whatsoever.

Because its totally not racial profiling to require every Mexican to prove they are citizens. While you're at it, require every Muslim to prove they aren't a religious extremist, or require every white to prove they aren't a member of a radical (left or right wing) group.

Now you understand how the Stump works.

And remember the definition of "stump", "The best parts are gone, what's left behind is rotting in the ground."

Yeah, those darn Union "workers" ! We can blame them for 40 hour work weeks, overtime pay, safety laws, paid vacations and Holidays. Not to mention pensions (which I'm enjoying now).

I don't mean to go too far off topic but I was part of a Sheet Metal Worker's union a couple years ago..Got really sick and tired of it..Not only do they treat all members like crap, I guess I should rephrase that lol..not all of them were lazy..but believe me you'd find your fair share moreso than the ones who would actually earn every dime they make.. every year they would ask for rediculous pay raises and benefit "supplements" The starting pay for an apprentice of today is way over paid..when I started it was close to 40,000 annually plus a 20,000 dollar benefit package..But there also came a lot of union crap to go with it.. the shop I worked at eventually closed. They wanted to move me to Idaho and work a temp job and then somewhere else after that and then I said forget it and got out of there..It just wasn't for me..They would tell us who to vote for and do this and go here..go to this meeting or go to this rally etc.. or they'd threaten you and the employer or tell the employer to fire you it was just high school B.S. You could say I have a lot of animosity towards them.

I am at the point where political parties are a troublesome burden to the US. I don't want "professional politicians" elected to office ad infinitum, who are lawyers from Ivy league schools and think they are entitled to sit in power forever because they know best (CONTROL FREAKS).

I want my representative and senators to vote for what's best for the nation, not their own career and political party!

Vote the Bums Out in November!

Sounds like the UK where we now have a generation of politicians that studied politics at university then left university and went straight into politics, they have never done anything in the real world and so are detached from the people they are meant to represent. I remember Gyles Brandreth (a UK theatre producer, journalist, author publisher TV personality ex MP and all round prat) saying that when he first approached his local Conservative party selection committee in a bid to stand for parliament at the age of around 30 they told him to go away get some experience of life and come back in about ten years, advice more of our politicians could do with following. After all the minimum age for a MP is now 18.
