    Painting of trooper of the 65th. Division circa 1870's. He is wearing a Vetterli bayonet. Rich A. in Pa.

    Wonderful Rich, I also watched the Vetterly Bayo and just realised how the leather scabard inspired the Carcano one.

    It is neat. Besides he is wearing a Vetterli bayonet. I had to have it. I think it was worth the $30 I paid for it. Here is a better pic. Rich A. in Pa.

    That's a bargain price, not to mention it's really well painted.
