jagdpanther44 just added the third continent to our Forces Postal Service. Coming from the gorgeous beaches of Mauritius, he sends a message sure to engender envy in all forumites. This one is going to be tough to match.

I'm quite envious of his banana hammock stylings.

But what it doesn't have is - militaria !

Poor old John - I just know he'll be desperate to get back to the UK ; what's a bit of sunshine when you can enjoy queuing outside a Fair in crisp, bracing Winter weather...?

Blimey that postcard took long enough to reach you. I've been back home for over a month now!

My wife and I had a fantastic holiday on the island of Mauritius, even if there weren't any places of WW2 relevance to see. :grumble:

Believe me when I say that my Budgie Smuggling swimming trunk days were well and truly over many years ago. These days it's just plain old swim shorts. :D

The majority of the locals on Mauritius are of Hindu faith and, as most of you will already know, the swastika is an ancient sacred symbol in their religion.
