Stevin - You are finding all my secret delaer sites! I think Jamie is a little expensive. I bought there once: a pennant from the Jeugdstorm.
Whoops, Sorry Volkbert! I posted it at Bill's request... Jeugdstorm!!! Al the way in the UK! This one wasn't a fake, right!?
Greetings guys - I suggested Jamie Cross because of its being able to be another sight for people to preview. I have bought many items from Jamie at very reasonable prices, yet, Volkbert, I agree with you that some of the prices there in England are absolutely much more in cost than here in the U.S., or mainland Europe. For example, his Infantry Assaults at $135 and up are quite expensive along with the same on his Panzer Assaults going for just about the same. Here, in my area, one can still locate IAB's for $65 or $75 each ( silver ), and PAB's for just about the same, or slightly more. But then, I have found the oddball item such as a Rumanian Medal For The Crusade Against Communism on his site for $40, while here they want $140!!! So, there are always things any where that are cheaper than others, and vice versa. It never hurts to have enough militaria web sites to search through. Be good to each other. Bill
Bill - You are right, it's always good to have several dealers where you can go to look. Especialy when you know the dealer has good stuff. I check Jamie's update every week because he has a section about dutch items. Stevin - The Jeugdstorm pennant was not a fake. It's a beauty and one of my favourite dutch pieces.
I remember now Volkbert! You told me about receiving it during our last lunch, right? Was just that I didn't quite realise what a pennant is/was. DOH!
Volkbert - Stevin - Sounds like you two are having a great time visiting each other, and sharing the hobby in your lunch room. That's great! Wish I had the same situation for myself over here, but I don't. But then again, that's why I have the forum to visit you guys on, right!? Bill
Hi Bill, Funny that Volkbert and I met through the forums and then found out we worked for the same company, different building. The lunches we enjoyed lasted considerably longer than the alotted 30 minutes... It is great to be able to talk about our hobby. And it is fun to meet people you meet on line. I am sure that if V. is patient with me ( ) we'll be going to some fairs and museums together as well. I hope to get the opportunity to meet more forummembers in the future... But, Yes, Bill, the forums is our playing ground!!! Glad to come here daily!

BAH! I already figured I would feature prominently in the '60% Overhead Cost Reduction Proposal' that will come into effect in a few months...
I USED to have a nice NSKK pennant but I long since traded it away as I didn't have a use for it. Now all I have in my NSKK collection--is a mint unused NSKK Tunic adler.
