I've been exposed to many "real" and "unreal" facts...Give us your best shot.

Apparently you have not been a lurker that long. I have seen very few posts deleted or ignored.

That's it? Face facts, Yakuza, we are all ignorant...Me, I am ignorant concerning many things, for instance Quantum Physics, because it has no practical effect on my life. I am also ignorant when it comes to early Middle East history because I have no interest in it what so ever - even though I took a college course in it way back when.

Forgive me, but I can easily see that you are also ignorant in many things.

We have several threads on this already, if you have been a "lurker" for as long as you say, then you should be well versed in those reasons.

Please refresh my memory as to which city served as the Headquarters for the Second Army and the Japanese 5th Division?

How many troops were based in Hiroshima...25,000-40,000?

How many heavy industries were in Hiroshima?

Was not Hiroshima a well known transportation hub?

The list goes on and on for Hiroshima being a "legitimate" military target.

Right. That's the only thing you have gotten correct so far.

Well, you are writing "history" here, so I can only presume that the "losers" also get to write there fair share too.

As to all the "other atrocities"...Let's see you list. We are all well aware of the unrestricted submarine warfare conducted by the US against Japan, and the conduct of a few commanders does come under question. There was also the battle of the Bismarck Sea, and that has been argued back and forth for some time.

Finally, as many US veterans I have talked to have stated - to paraphrase..."None of us claimed to be saints. We did what we had to do to survive." Now, if that meant that German POWs ended up dead in a ditch, as opposed to walking them back to the rear through shellfire, well then, they ended up dead in the ditch. As has been said before, war is hell.

AFAIK, the autopsy record is not classified...It was not performed. The Patton "assassination" sells books and movie tickets, and that is all it does. Every assassination theory is so full of holes, that they should be referred to as "swiss cheese" and not theories.

The Germans were bombing British civilians back in World War I. If you want to play "Dueling Banjos", I'm game.

Numerous? If they were anything like the "peace offerings" given to Czechoslovakia, Poland, Belgium, Holland, etc. Then no wonder they were ignored.

But it is far more funnier to listen to the Japanese far-right politicos claiming that the Japanese were the "good guys". Now that is pure comedy gold!

I like the spittle-flecked ravers best.
Reminds me of the mid 90s.

Still not Japanese though are you, Yakuza?
    Eh?

And if everyone could check their avatars to make sure they're not too trolly, that'd be lovely.

    Continuing,
Sounds like someone has a bad case of "sour grapes".

Japan made it "our" business when they bombed Pearl Harbor. Next time, don't make it "our" business. Thanks in advance.

    Two words...Korean War.

The Chinese fought us to a draw...The Japanese...Didn't.

Socialist Government, for crying out loud, Socialist Government. Since you don't know, that is where A & B get together and decide what C should do for D.

Again, with tongue firmly planted in cheek...Because we Americans let you live.

These questions are way to easy. Give me some tougher questions.

If Hitler was "good," then I an all that more grateful to my "bad" uncles for trampling on him.

Wasn't that video taken down because it was 6 hours 32 minutes and 14 seconds too long. That, and it belonged in "Alternative History", as it has no basis in the OTL.

I wondered what Yakuza means. The jerk pretends to be a Japaneze mafioso - Asiatic version of Luca Brazzi. Insane. That's him:

But why? :heartbroken: I'm affraid that's all because Takao told him the truth too quickly and too straightforward. He must be desperate now. We should have been more gentle with the poor guy.

How can they ever be in denial for what they had done?! What they did was horrible!
Hopefully they will use this as attempt to understand and learn about what horrible things their country did.
