Alabama won, 49-42 I believe. I was hoping that they would both lose, but since that can't happen, and no more ties are possible, I was left to wish that Alabama would lose and Johnny Football would break his throwing arm. Neither one happened so there goes another ruined day.

Watched most of the game (as I live about an hour from College Station, it was mandated by state law) Strange but entertaining game. 'Bama didn't panic early and you have to give Johnny credit, he is a hell of a athlete.

You cannot exist in Alabama and not know how Alabama and Auburn did, I was just kidding Jeff. Pretending to not know. I am not really a football fan but help send myself through college tutoring Bear Bryant's players, they paid well !! And at Auburn I designed Pat Dye's house and we have been good friends since 1980.

I worry that our country is becoming less competitive in the global economy and worry that football is the bread and circuses of the modern world , LOL. I would rather see someone at Alabama or Auburn win a Nobel that a ball game but as we say down here "Ain't gonna happen" ( I am glad people enjoy it but think it is out of balance.

One beautiful Fall day I was out sailing, my boat of a perfect broad reach, 12 knot wind, sheets taunt, no flutter.....heaven......
Then a power boat comes blasting by with it's huge wake, radio blasting out a football game , whooping and hollowing..... and I was thinking where is an RPG 9 when you need one !!!!!!

Rumor has it that The Crimson Tide prevailed, but I am not certain,

And here I was thinking about ways that LSWho would take that boy to the woodshed. If he gets injured, A&M has a whole lot of nothing left.

Now, that sounds like a delightful way to spend the day.

Nothing against Alabama, it's always a good game when we win. I just have no use for that sombitch Nick Satan.
