No truer love than that between a man and his dog.

    Sorry ladies.

I'm not a huge fan of dogs, but when I was on the river our hutch dog decided I was "the one" and slept on my bed when I was out, and under it when I was "home". German Shepherd/Husky mix. We had to introduce the hootch girls to him and make nice. If not the gals tended to run off, terrified of Hans.

I've had dogs, cats, a burro and a friendly Fox. A dog can look you in the eye, raise an eyebrow and make you more submissive than almost any woman.

I had a friend with a harlequin Dane. She ran the block she lived on.
