Hi guys, I was wondering if 6 airfield construction squadron or 10 works supply ever saw proper action in New Guinea. I do know that airstrips that they were working on were often bombed or strafed or sometimes even shot at and kamikazied but I'm not too sure if they saw proper combat. The reason I think this is because of the low casualty rate. Most casualties say "ground accident" but according to a veteran of 5 acs this can also mean that they were sniped or bombed not in a battle. (Correct me if I'm wrong).
    Anyway,
    Thanks,
    Adam.
