TA152, Aint got a clue what the plane is! My guess would be an ME110 maybe??? Maybe that could be a new quiz... Spot The Wreck!!!
French tank, German markings, American troops, as messed up on the last thread: And RB, it is indeed a 110 I think, long thin tail, engines on wings, twin tail.
Some pics for KAI... All from the Karelian Front. Riflemen with SVT-38... Hero of the Soviet Union Said Aliev is hunting... 152mm Howitzer... Now these must have been fun to drive...
Oh yes, where did you get that Eben Emael pic? I just started reading that book. Don't want much,do I?
hmmm plane looks like it could be a He. 111, looks like it has the tail of the 111 anyways, you can kind of make out that it isnt a flat tale, and has a dorsal fin on it. hmm...
This is a good one: WOMEN ON THE HOME FRONT 1939 - 1945 The Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS): ATS working on a Churchill tank at a Royal Army Ordnance Corps Depot. Photograph shows the women guiding the turret into position. Many ATS worked with the newly formed REME on jobs such as this.
The He-111 is really a Spanish CASA- You can tell by the Rolls Royce engines on the aircraft. The aircraft was photographed in Harlingen Texas, that used to be the home of the Confederate Air Force. I have lots of pictures of their aircraft. The plane also was one of the stars of the movie Battle of Britian. Sadly, as with so many of their aircraft the CAF wrecked this plane last year and it is no more. They used to have a number of CASA Me-109's and wrecked all of them too.
I'm under ther impression the Confederate Air Force changed it's name recently. Are you aware of this? Ta, who's winning the Great Scanner War?
Za Rodina - Yeah the CAF did chage its name to the Commemeration Air Force. Probably did it out of political correctness.
5-0-Duce, I think the wings are too large for a 110 and the tail too chunky, plus no fin or dorsal turret.
