k98 rifle 1934 with japanese or chiniese writing????

    :Dhi i have a k98 in my big collection but its a really odd one as A its dated 1934 and B its has some jap or chinese writing on the butt can someone shed some light on my gun, thanks:radar:

    Likely Chinese. The Germans sold China quite alot of military equipment in the interwar years.
