Does anybody have any information about RKT winner, KARL-HEINZ EULING. I believe he was with either the 9th SS or 10th SS Panzer Division and commanded a battlegroup. Any bio information or book sources that mention him in detail would be appreciated.

    Knight's

books.....I don't have this one so maybe someone can give us a review.
    "It never snows in September"

a definate must for the W-SS accounts is Wilhelm Tieke's "In the Firestorm of the Last war Year"
This covers SS Schwere Panzer Abteilung 102/502 and the units 9th and 10th SS Panzer Divisions from their inception till May of 45.....get this book !! I believe you can get it just about anywhere, it is a JJF publication from Canada and has been translated from the German just recently.

I didnt think of it before but, go to www.schifferbooks.com they have tons of books that are currently available on the Wehrmacht and all aspects of it--ESPECIALLY the Waffen SS. Mark Yerger is an expert on the Waffen SS and has several books out on them.

I think I did see a book about Frundsberg listed there.

Hello Jim--as a warning! collecting Schiffer books IS habit forming! :D I made a list of at least 20 more "To Get" books in the near future and every single one is German Army related. About half are only on the Waffen SS. Im looking at several hundred more dollars spent on just Schiffer titles in about another years time.

    C. Evans,

I know the feeling. I collect the books and forward them to veterans and authors for inscriptions. Got some pretty impressive ones. I started back in the 80's and continue today. Not only Schiffer but Fedorowicz as well. Let me know if you are looking for something in particular. I received several autographed books from Toliver, the Hartmann autograph, Galland, etc.

Good collection going there. I only have four autographed books myself: "The Last Knight of Flanders" every pic in the book signed by RKT Remy Schrijnen, plus an inscription to me taking a full page. Dust Jacket is signed as well.

My book on the Durham Light Infantry thanks to my friend Paul Errington--it is signed by a Victoria Cross Recipient Captain Richard Wallace Annand.

Then I have a book by Martin Drewes (another RKT)which he signed and dedicated to me.

"Shooting the War" signed by U 181s Second Watch Officer, Otto Giese--may he rest in peace. :(

Last year I was going to get the book on all RKTs which was by Walter Peer Fellgieble (RKT) but he passed away before I could place an order for it. :(
