Kids in St Louis want to reenact ww2 , well some do

had all kinds of kids from 8 to 16 yo ask how to get started in ww2 reenacting, at the Jefferson Barracks ww2 weekend. how can I explain this? is it the history channel?, the video games w/ww2 for a subject. the ww2 models sold everywhere. or is it the influence of veterans who may be related to them ? whatever it is lots of kids are really interested in world war two.
