    But no country is stupid enough to build a MBT from aluminium... :D

    I was thinking that maybe the aluminium armour was for weifht-saving - but it is 53 tons heavy, with a ground pressure of just over 12lb per square inch.
    Is it an aluminium/lead alloy? :-?
