I'll take my job seriously. I have my bullet in my right front shirt pocket and my ticket book and pen under my hat.

For those of you who are not fans of that great US TV show, The Andy Griffith Show, I am comparing my self to Andy's deputy, Barney Fife.

Heh heh, good ol Jeff "Barney" Fife. Andy (aka: Otto) couldn't have picked a better person to act as one of his Deputies (moderators)

If one thinks im sucking up to our new Mod, that aint the case. Im just buttering him up for Miguel.

Just think about who the rest of Andy's (temporary) deputies were and look around at the rest of the mods.

To quote Ol' Barn, "the cream of the crop."

    Floyd
    Otis
    Burt
    Gomer
    Goober

And to quote Otis, "Andy, why'd he throw that tomato at me?"

Heh heh, Otis Campbell (Hal Smith) is one of my top favorites on that show. Hal really was good at being the town Drunk.

Lord Otto, we need an Otis Campbell smiley please ;-))

I love that kind of pictures which show the humor and humanity of airmen, no matter their nationality.

I hear he plays unending chess games with the Red Rabbi and listens to his Reminiscences of the Russian Civil War.

Heh heh, a few more months and both Kai and I will have to watch out for the Red Rabbi Express.

Hey, I think we should have a bet on seeing how long it will take for R.R  (formerly known as Miguel) to pass us by. Can everyone spare a half of a sawbuck to throw into the pot?
