Location of Continental Prisoner of War Enclosure #27

    Hi

    I am a new member who has just received the Prisoner of War records of a Major Kurt von Holleben who was held in the USA from mid 1945 to early 1946 before being released back to Germany The records state that he was held at CCPWE #27.

    I cannot find the location of this camp - can anyone on the forum tell me where it was.

    Wow that was quick - thank you Takao - I was expecting a camp in the USA, but it might explain why there is a photocopy of a map of a section of France in the records. I shall have to dig a bit deeper.
