    Click on "More Reply Options" bottom right under the reply box. The box will change and on the bottom left you will see "Attach Files" with "Choose Files" underneath. Click on "Choose Files" and select the photo from your PC.

    Ah, now I see. If you look in Box #32, you'll see three campaigns; Normandy, Central Europe, and Northern France. He was entitled to all three stars.

    We still have the mystery surrounding the award of a battle star for the Central Europe Campaign. Dates for that campaign are: March 22 to May 11, 1945. He was a POW at that time.

    The award may have been a mistake or something else is going on? I don't know enough about campaign awards to even offer a theory.

    I remember the storie's he would tell us as kid's will stick with me forever .even as a old man id catch him looking off an the look in his eye's were of deep thought an im sure he was bk in the war.He was alway's very kind but did have a strong reign on us he had too .His time in ww11 shaped the rest of his life.He was my hero an missed very much.
