Looking for NCDU number

Does anyone know a good way to find out the NCDU number for a Seaman 2nd class? I'm researching sailor Peter Demmer who was killed June 8, 1944 on either Omaha or Utah beach in an NCDU.

He was actually "declared dead" (dd) on 8 June, but it is likely he was KIA on 6 June. Given that the NCDU on UTAH suffered 6 KIA and those on OMAHA 31, it is more likely he was on OMAHA.

You could order his IDPF from St. Louis.

Hey guys, I am currently tasked with presenting a bio on Mr. Peter M. Demmer and I was hoping you could help me out.
