Hi, I am looking for a good resource (prefer free over the internet but will buy a book if I need too) about Operation Market Garden. I believe this may have been the mission my grandfather was shot down in.

    Thanks!

Some details would be helpful. Was this a USAAF pilot or RAF? If AAF and shot down, what was his disposition - POW, KIA, evaded? An AAF pilot shot down will most likely be on a missing aircrew report and those are searchable.
