Ricky is correct,nobody in LOTR said it.But it is in LOTR somewhere.

Ricky is correct in that no LOTR characters said it.But the statement does appear in lots of LOTR books.I want to know who made it.

 

How about a hint?It can be found within the first few pages in the book.

This has dragged on way too long.The statement was made by Peter S. Beagle.It is the last sentence in a foreward found in the beginning of every copy of LOTR I've ever had.As for the the author,I have no idea who he is.
