M1943 Jacket with 82nd AB patch and arm flag

    Just picked up an M1943 jacket with an 82nd Airborne patch and US arm flag. Photos attached. Jacket's tags are gone and the name/serial number are too faded to read. The top rocker looks like it may be a greenback.

    Looking for input from you experts.

    My first forum post.

    It is a 48 star flag, which is a good start.

    Doesn't look right to me. I don't like the stitching on the flag and the machine stitching on the flash doesn't look right either. The lack of tags and other markings on the jacket leads me to think it might be repro or post war manufacture; due to the color.
