I was going to convert some Spanish Helmets to look more like the German M42 and sent awayt to IMA the first one out of the box was an original M35 German Stahlhelm. original liner chinstrap and paint job, Nop decal tho which would make sense if it was worn on the eastern front by a member of The Spanish Blue Division. the second helmet had a leather liner and strap and the third was the modern version with canvas liner and strap. the German Helmet collector list is eager to see photos of the M35. Perhaps I should send some to the Tanks forum as well. but anyway nothing is going to be done to this helmet to improve it. This one stays just as it was in 1943!!!!

Spanish helmets are seen once in a while in some antiques markets around here.
