In my recent spate of 'Bulge' reading, I've come across numrous pictures of the M4 High Speed Tractor made by Allis Chalmers. This seems to be something of an 'unsung' vehicle ; it's quite difficult to find information about it ( at least on this side of the Atlantic ).

Good old e-bay produced a 1/35 kit by Hobby Boss which I got cheaply ( under £10 ) and which I've decided may make a nice early-winter project. At the same time, good old Amazon provided me with a copy of Lonnie Speer's '110th AAA - Driving Hitler's Crawlin' Coffin' which I'm looking forward to reading at the same time.

Here's a link to my little project as it stands now....

    'Hitler's Crawlin' Coffin' - I rather like that.....

Many thanks, Nigel - but my 'modelling skills' don't run to diorama-building....just completing the model will be a major achievement!
