American M8 Greyhound armoured cars probe their way through a recently captured French village during the breakout. The 7.6-ton M8 Greyhound was the most widely deployed armoured car in the US Army. It had a top speed of 90kph and was armed with a 37mm gun and a ring-mounted .50in. Browning heavy machine gun. The Greyhound also saw service with the British Army.
