I know Martin Bormann escaped from the bunker just days before the nazi party surrendered and was never captured. I read something the other day that his remains were found in 1972. What happened to him ? was he killed, suicide, or what ?

Dental records and DNA testing proved the body was that of Bormann. There was one other body found, but the name escapes me now.It was ruled a suicide.

You think what Goering said aboutr him might be true? It might jsut be the paint fumes talking, but didnt Goering claim that Bormann was giving secrets to the Soviets?

not that i know. but it doesn't seem to be logical. he was one of the most powerfullest men in hitlers entourage. he decided who was allowed to speak with hitler and he wrote down eveything hitler said so he could use it against his enemies.
why should he be helping the sovjets? in nazi germany, he was almost the most powerfull man there was. even himmler needed to be carefull when Borman was around.

but bormann was like an robot, just following orders from hitler, if you take hitler out that leaves a mindless bormann, and if i can remember well , in a documentary about him, they menioned the bones they find and in the investigation they discovered beetwen the front teeths, some pieces of glass, perhaps bormann took the last resort: the cyanide glass capsule
