I just came across my father's burial flag. He died in 1967. Where I found it, it surprised me that it was in the condition it is in. Just the side that connects to the pole is a little discolored. I did have to wash it, by hand. I saw a post a while back that showed a memorial flag with a Veterans Administration stamp, showing it came from the VA. Do all VA issued flags have that stamp? The only thing is the label of manufacturer.
