Well, did the Germans really have an elite branch of stormtroopers who wore Gas Masks all the time, wielded MG42s and could withstand two Panzershreck rockets?

And also, do you know any cheats? I'm fed up with the last level.

it's just the last bit where there's like 5 walking tanks.
And why do the Fallshirmjagers sound so otherworldly?

I usually use a Panzershreck (Takes two hits to kill them though!) but by the end I usually have no rockets left. A BAR fires to slowly so the best wa to kill them is an STG 44.

I didn't like this game at all. It was too unrealistic. Even for a MOH game.

    Cheers...

I just found something out. When you blow up a tank, you hear the crew inside screaming.
Though like you said, it is more like an arcade game than a historical one.

Did anyone note that in the game (at Paestrum) when you're up the kind of hill, among all the pillars of the archeology site, they put a German soldier's flask (exactly the same that the soldier's wore in their back) ?? Did anyone note it ??

For the Fallschirmjäger, they were elite troops, the one who were the best trainned. It was the first time in tne world that an army had paratroopers, and the US took example in the Germans for having and trainning para of their own.
For the MG's SS, yes they were real. They needed mask because the Mg42 made a lot of smoke while shooting, and soldiers's as you know, need to breath for shooting!! LOL! More seriously, there were also some tinny flame during shooting, and some could have been spit out of the mg right to the soldier's face, and the mask protected the soldier from it. When you're shooting with that heaviest fire, you also need to see where you shoot and you must be not deconcentrated from your task by flame on your face! (I don't know if my explaination is clear, but if no, I will try to re-write it for you).
    Good game!

The "Nazi storm elite" are based off the desperation of Germany to the point where hip firing the MG42 was encouraged!

The reason the MG guys and Panzershreck guys have gas masks are that when rapidly fired the MG42 would emit a heck of alot of gases out of its chamber which could be toxic if breathed in at a close range. With the rocket it it was much the same with the fire and smoke that would emit from the rear of the tube as the smoke was ejected with very high pressure from the rear just like the later Panerfaust (Achtung! Feuerstrahl!)

Although Gas masks were usually only administered to specialist teams where the loader usually wore it.
