Kai great find ! hopeful that is an orginal signature, sorry to say I am no help on some of the big boy Luftwaffe aces sigs, though I own Ralls and H. Hermann's on a number of things, Galland as well, and yes there are more of course. have dealt more with the little known guy that always sweated out the bullets in 44-45 wher more of the big aces went up the food chain to administrative duties keep at it.
Only autographs on a cover, not a photo which is much more desirable, but even so I was very happy to 'win' this on ebay this week for a very modest cost. It's not that easy nowadays to get the signatures of two Diamonds winners together and especially not Hermann Graf.....
E-bay came up trumps again - this time a 1970 FDC signed by Johannes Pichler ( JG77 ) and Erich Hartmann - nice, clear signatures and it cost me only £9 which shows that you don't have to spend a fortune on memorabilia.....
I must admit I 'm quite jealous about this one. But check this one out: I recently got the signature and the memoirs of one the Fallschirmjägers who was billeted in my own house in Normandy in WWII ! (I lived there after the war )
well until I get a friend to get over and scan multiple sigs this will have to do for now.......... a pilot and actually a pretty well know n personality of GeschwaderStab./JG 301 flying the Ta 152H-1, his compressor in the engine froze solid and his Tank dropped like a heavy rock after he shot down a Tempest
NJG 6 Bf 110G-4 ace Günther Bahr upon receival of his RK........hey look who is walking with him on his right..... friend Peter spoden that's who
Just joined the Forum, and thought I would contribute to the thread. I have about 1500 signed RK winner signatures, mostly Luftwaffe. My main interest is Jagdflieger. Happy to post if anyone has any special requests! Here are 3 for starts - hope it works
Sorry should have named them - unless you want to guess? Paul-Heinrich Dahne - 99 vics KIA 24.4.45 Hans Ehlers - 55 vics KIA 27.12.44 - phone from Obermaier - see the Jagdflieger book Wilhelm Hofmann - 44 vics KIA 26.3.45 (lost an eye in '43)
Maybe I can bring this one back to life.... Oberfeldwebel Horst Petzschler signed this Bf109G-2 for me recently. Will post some signed photos I have later on.
Yep! It was "gift" from someone who meant well. Figured what the heck, sent it to Horst to see if he would sign it.
interesting, Horst cracks me up and always had over the phone at length or personal one on one. He was gracious enough to give me his whole run down from JG 51 and asked to come into Walter Bohatsch's 2./JG 3 to help him start the high altitude squadron for the new I./JG 3 in April of 44 till May 44's end right before Normandie
Erich, yes Horst is a very gracious man. I have several letters that he has wrote to me. Always interesting to see what he has to say!! Here are a few photos I had signed.
