Iceman can do a crash test on the Fiat. He has 5mph impact feet. Besides the hard head. :D

If I was in the Fiat I would have a hard head, it would fit like a helmet.

I remember making an Airfix plastic kit of the Blohm & Voss when I was about 10. Wacky, indeed but for a recce aircraft...why not ? ;)

hehehehe...love the Caproni CA-60!! Wonder if that one ever took to the air and if it did, if it was managable for the pilot....

Fairey Battle looks dreadful, looks like the result of one plan going up the backside of the other.

WWII pilot 'Paddy' Barthropp said that it was 'rather like flying a football pitch'.....

I did not know of this before but the Russians made a trainer version of the Me-163. I guess two pilots can get killed for the price of one. I guess the extra pilot left even less room for fuel and they had to launch it from the copied B-29. Text is Russian :(

Not ugly, but even in the late 30's they were trying to build flying saucers. Makes you think they could have been successful and they are not telling us about it. I hope I don't get to see any, I have enough problems with the little green men trying to play bingo with me.

Anyone familiar with the 'flying flapjack'? That sure wasn't a looker.
