Look, if Mel and Hollywood say there was there must have been. Where you there?

I've seen the movie..theres definately Irishmen there. Little guy...named Stevin...must be because they were trying to get us to think it was King Stevin....good Irish name.

I wish you 2 would pack it in...God made you English for a reason...speak his lingo...Its not just the queens English, it was given to the true born rulers of our lands by the hand of the big guy....we all know that...

If this carries on, Longshanks will rise and be off to Borders before you 2 can say my aunts got a kilt yaki dar bo peep...

Then we will see the most humiliating defeat in history...but we all know what that is anyway....Now then, lets look at the last few results of the football home nations...

    England won, Scotland lost.

    England won Wales lost

But thats right....you can have our goalpoasts, but you'll never take our turf home.

I am just laughing my ass off here! Mentioning one crushing defeat of Scotland by the English and I set off a flame war amongst the various factions of Britain! I love it!
This is better than watching soccer hooligans!

I would have to say the British defeat of the Spanish Armada.

    They were damn near invincible.

Oh its just banter...I think....unless its to do with sport in which case....bring back battle axe's...I'll swing one..

Anyway Im Irish born, English by nurture.

So that makes me even worse.

Now...who knows the words to that good ole singalong Jerusalem?

Till we have built Jerusalem....On Englands green and pleasant land....

Ive probably got the words wrong....but hey..I'm Irish...

If its humilating defeats and back to topic...

Irish defeat of Me Lord Essex....black eyes to Elizabeth the first...surrender? He did what? To the Irish?

Was it not, a total of 300,000 troops lost to the Germans from the 6th Army. With 91,000 captured which only 6,000 or so got home.

But does that 750,000 include the Germans attempts on breaking through to the 6th Army or just the troops lost in stalingrad?

Hi Tomcat, having looked at a few other sites i think your initial figures could be in relation to 6th army only.
