Why don't you drown your sorrow with a fine refreshing glass of Outhouse Springs Bottled Water. :D

You have to love the advertising business.

It was a fake advertising campaign started by a advertising company/billboard company to prove that billboards were still relevant in selling products. So the company created an imaginary product, "Outhouse Springs Water" And put up billboards advertising the product. They quickly generated a such a demand for this fake bottled water, that they hired a bottling company to produce the product. I remember seeing one of the billboards when I used to go up to the Poconos.

It really is an interesting story...Goolgle
Outhouse Springs Water or Outhouse Springs bottled water.

Not a pee joke, but an advertising joke.

It's only funny if you get the joke. Read up on how Outhouse Springs Water came to be a product.

My point is that Mr. Peanut's "death" is an advertising gimmick...Like Superman's death and Outhouse Springs Water.

    Ahh...Baby Nut...Anticlimatic.

Maybe next year we can look forward to a reunion with Ginger Nut, Posh Nut, Scary Nut, and Sporty Nut.

Another thought, maybe Planters should have looked up the meaning of Baby Nut on Urban Dictionary.

They went with the "Baby Yoda" thing. Or maybe the "Star Trek: Search for Spock" scenario. Either way, I agree it was anti-climactic.

I kinda like this take (though I am more of a Skippy fan. Extra Chunky, of course.)
