    The Game Plan

    Africa

Italian forces in Eastern Africa expand the New Italian Empire with the conquest of Ethiopia. The War is swift, with light Italian casualties. The Italian Air-force gets some much needed practice against live-contacts, and several Generals get much needed Experience before being reassigned to other Italian Forces. Mussolini has made it well known that he wishes to recreate the Roman Empire, only this one will be much larger then the former!

There is one slight problem - the British occupy most of Africa, especially those areas once under Roman Control. The new East African territories could serve to cut the British Colonial possessions in half (North and South) but is it worth the risk? Or should the Italian East Africa forces set up defensive lines and wait for the Italian Armies in North Africa to arrive?

    Europe

The Italian Mainland is prone to invasion by sea. The Italian Navy will be the key to its survival but Mussolini is not content with that. Mare Nostrum - Our Sea, as the Romans used to call it - should become an impenetrable fortress itself. Again, the pesky British control the Suez Canal and the Gibraltar Straights. Gibraltar can only be attacked via land - Spain must be under Italian Control! The Suez Canal is more vital and will seal Mare Nostrum for good! Amphibious Assaults can be launched near it, but at the risk of the British Navy Intercepting the Assault Fleets. Is the risk worth it? Or should Italian Soldiers slog it out across North Africa against their English counter parts, trying to push them back? Decisions decisions...

Or will the Italians do the unthinkable, and launch a seaborne invasion of the UK to end the war by Christmas?

    Decisions, decisions...
