Mustang aces signatures

ANy idea from which occasion could this be from?

 

Looks like a book plate for one of the special edition books on the Mustang.

I've seen a number of such books with similar plates, but never with so many signatures. E.g there's a special edition of Bob Goebel's book: "Mustang Ace" with 8 signatures and "P-51: Super Profiles" with another 8 (some of the pilots appear both of these and in your photo).

I've seen the plates on ebay (without the book), and in book catalogues.

 

I have Goebels signed edition.

Kai top pilot is ace Herky Green. from what I can see Bob Goebel, Sandy McKorkle, friend Arthur Fiedler, Bob Barkley, richard Dunkin, Urban Drew at the bottom, JH Bennett ?? Powell

looks like a super plaque to me
