My aniversary present from my wife

    What my wife gave me this year.... I know it isnt ww2 but a static line is a static line... I got this one from the crew Cheif of the C-117 we jumped from during operation rhino in afghanistan.. My only combat jump....unsure if its mine or somone elses but it was cool that my wife did this for me Notice the Statice line and My Combat infantrymans badge

    Now that is awesome. She is a keeper. I have been on board a C-141 with paras dropping out during Just Cause. An awesome experience. I of course did not jump. You kidding! Cheers.

    PZ where they Rangers By chance ya dropped.. andwas it at RIO hato or Tocumen torrijos... I had some senior NCOS in my old Unit the 3/75th rangers who jumped on RIO hato

    Yup, Rangers they were. We were in the lead drop. I think the 82nd was to drop behind us a little later. Don't know where they jumped but it was an awesome sight. I saw some C-130s behind us going in lower than us. My understanding is that there was some snafu and there was a C-130 shortage so they called our plane in. We got to our destination late but we were not ready to head out until noon that day.
