Cheers GP...I had never seen that thing or knew of its existence even...Flipping unique piece of kit for the time I would have thought.

Nice job! - Really liked the mud and grime additions...shows a fair bit of understanding and control...However, one element i found missing was the degree of paint "rubbed" off...constant climbing on the machine chips paint, metal tools such as entrenching tools strapped to the chasis rub the paint and the tool and chasis lose the paint in that area...also oil and petrol leakage stains are also yet to be applied....well worth a trip to your local tank AFV grave yard to see the sort of stains and chips that would be apprpriate...again nice job mate.

Yes - it's for real. One of the few photos I know of is the pic of three knocked-out on Lake Ilmen, reproduced in Paul Carell's 'Scorched Earth'.

I too have several 1:30,1:32 and 1:35 scale pre-made models. Can't build worth a crap myself though. Have begun using so railroad scenery to try and give them something of a diorama look to them.

Does anyone know why the tracks are shortened and not going around the return roller? Maybe a one time field repair to get it home to the shop or was it done on purpose for the rocket launcher version?
