Usually I just go to content / follow. But clicked on My Content this time, and discovered stuff that wasn't included [and some good content] in content / follow, which I failed to respond in a timely fashion. Why is that? Have not manipulated any of the post option buttons. And have never "followed" a thread.
What are the differences between My Content and Content/ Follow ?

    Simple.

"My content" shows all of your posts for the past year(from current date). It is an easy way for finding topics that you have responded to, but have forgotten where they exactly are.

"Content/Follow" is for topics that you have chosen to "follow" - By clicking on the "follow/unfollow" button towards the top of the screen.

If you don't follow stuff, you won't find much content under 'Items I follow'... ;)
    Or get useful notifications.

I bolted together a reminder about the IPB notification system for WW2T.
Might as well put it here too - look is slightly different, but system is the same:

Poppy, belasar told me, under the strictest confidence the internet offers so you cannot tell anyone about this, that our beloved Otto struck a deal with the NSA that they would cover the forum's cost and teach him how to win war games if he would monitor and pass along data on our Canadian neighbors. Seems some of you are stockpiling WMD's at White Horse or Moose Jaw, I forget which, and they may have scrambled your content to disrupt nefarious activities emanating from your IP. Just a friendly, if near treasonous. , heads up. Personally I like Canadians even if they do talk funny, unlike we Southerners .

    Warmly,

    Gaines

I will admit, MrBlackwell, that I do carry a stockpile of smelly gas. Will also admit to using that gas [sometimes by accident].

The thing is, I have never clicked on "follow". So that means my "content/follow" should be empty, but it is almost as full as "my content"...Is it possible the -content follow- is showing my content others have chosen to follow?

Or you've already got the 'auto-follow topics I reply to' box ticked?

And one of the bars under 'By Time Period' in new content has to be highlighted too - that'll give a load of results - the 'just Items I follow' will filter that list.
