My great uncle the hero

    My great uncle Ray Stevens was one of the infamous "Bedford Boys" He and his twin brother Roy Stevens landed on Omaha beach together. Bedford lost 19 people on the beach including my uncle Ray who was ripped to shreds by machine gun fire. When he died my greatuncle Roy said apart of him died.
