my kharkov diorama ss troops on tiger 1 tank

    ss german 120mm scale resin figures,so far 18 mths putting it together,started with buying a heng long 1/16th scale tank, and before I knew it chased around the web to find some tank riders and stand up figures...figures are by s&t,verlinden,alpine,stormtrooper in the u.k.,and a new modeller jeff shiu,his figures are the camo helmet mg34, and the standing mg42 gunner with white camo leggings..rear view of the mg34 gunner,all my figures were bought and sent to patrick ang in malaysia to assemble and paint,so all credit goes to him for great artwork...

    sniper that is brillant!

    hey change that first picture to black and white......and it would look like a Real Photograph ......the detail is sooooo good!

    This is excellent. I'm sure you know this, but the FG42 was issued to parachute units and the one piece peadot camo outfit seems to be from 1944.

    your right wolfy,but wanted figure as it was part of the tank crew and I left the artwork to the modeller to decide...

    thanks for responses,glad it pleased.some detail is not meant to be accurate to time period,but its the figures and tank that make display...

    Looked at the MG-34 figure. It was very good. The boots look like...boots!

    do you use an airbrush or paintbrush?....(im guessing airbrush)

    the artwork is airbrush,and the assembly and artwork is done by patrick ang in malaysia,the tank is the only customising I have done..

    thanks again jeff,they are that good in detail,each figure cost $170 to have assembled and painted,ray..

    Wow. Whoa. Bloody Brilliant! Thank you for posting these. A freaking masterpiece! Your attention to detail and color is awesome. Congrats on a great model.:bow:

    I especially like the last pic showing the pack detail of the soldier. Great stuff!
