My lastest badges

    Got these two today....German Drivers badge in bronze, you can see where the owner has made four holes in it to sew i to his sleeve, still a bit of thread left, and a WW1 Hindenburg cross with swords...

    I like having examples of badges that have a bit of character, I will eventually get minty versions of all the drivers badges, me being and ex army truckie and all, but for 47 bucks for both, I did allright View attachment 14627

    nice condition and good maker markings for the Hindenburg cross too. Good show QOTD.

    Yeh I'm finding a few good items for cheap.....I know it is probaly better to save for more minty examples, but I'm compulsive, and most collectors have minty ones....I like picking up the ones with more " character".....but I will get more wound and drivers badges as I cone across them
